Dealing with Language Barriers
Long post ahead! I'm about to embark on a 6-month journey across several countries where English isn't widely spoken. I'm concerned about navigating daily life, from reading menus to asking for directions, and even more so, handling emergencies. I've been using apps to learn the basics, but I'm wondering if that's enough. Should I invest in a language course, or are there better, more practical tips for dealing with language barriers? Also, any tech recommendations for translation on the go would be fantastic!
